Ingredients:- 40 km of gravel road;
- A melting day in August;
- A little fascinating city in the South of Albania: Berat
- If you have a 4x4
car just enjoy the ride on the unpaved road that takes to Berat… if you have a
normal city car you won’t be so relaxed but you’ll slowly manage to reach your
destination anyway;
- Activate the wipers
to clean the windscreen and behind a dusty cloud, it will appear a charming open-air
museum on the side of the river Ishull;
- Walk around this
tiny village on the narrow streets paved with white stones, to discover its
cathedral, its mosque, its castle and its ethnographic museum rich of history;
It seems as if time
has stood still in this tiny little Albanian gem…
