- Take one of the trains of “the underground” ("a földalatti") M1 and get off at the station called Vörösmarty Ter: this is the southern terminus of this Unesco Word Heritage metro built in 1894;
- You are now in Vorosmarty Square, an enormous chaotic square with a giant monument, and two decorated buildings on each side. This square is dedicated to Mihály Vörösmarty, a famous Hungarian poet;
- Leave the noise of the square behind and enter the Varosliget park… the green fields, the relaxing ponds and lakes, the little castle and the old thermal baths will make forget that you are in a traffic congested city;
- Suddenly, under some trees, you’ll notice a disquieting statue of a man with a long cloak, a pen in his right hand and a book… He is Anonymous.
No one knows who he was, his face is not reassuring and he could easily be a character of a horror movie but a local belief says he is a good luck charm for the writers…
If you are a writer and want to get the inspiration for your next best seller, touch Anonymous’ pen and he will help you!
