El Lector in Burgos- Spain

Ingredients:

- The ancient city of Burgos in Castilla y Leon;

- A tiny river and a majestic cathedral;

- Smell of tapas in the air;

- A bronze statue to honour the press and the readers.

Recipe:

- Reach the center of the lovely Spanish Burgos…It will be easy because, also at night, you’ll see from the distance the spires of the magnificent cathedral appearing behind coloured buildings and green trees;

- Once crossed the bridge and entered the gate, you’ll be surrounded by the history of this city and the yummy smell of tapas, fried food and wine will distract you from your main purpose… find the statue of the man representing all the readers;

- Calle Sombrerería, between the Cathedral and Plaza Major, is your destination. “El Lector” is there, leaning against a column, with its casual clothes and eternally reading his newspaper… that must be really really interesting!
