Heavenly Val di Mello - Italy

Ingredients:

- Unspoilt Val di Mello natural reserve;

- Fresh and clean air;

- A small river in a valley surrounded by rocky mountains;

- Silence and nature.

Recipe:

- Park your car in the tiny little village of San Martino (SO);

- Follow the path near the river and in less than 20 minutes you will reach Val Di Mello (you can also get one of the buses from the car park– they operate only in summer);

- Val Di Mello's smooth and flat path will take you through a crystal clear small lake, tiny sheds, high waterfalls, green fields with grazing cows.

Looks like an heavenly place? Go there and you'll see that it's more than that...

Ingredients:

- The precious advice of a wise lady in a Tourist Office;

- A typical June in Scotland (sunny but maybe rainy, cold but maybe warm and windy but maybe windy!);

- A muddy field on the desolated northern coast;

- Waterproof shoes (but if you are in Scotland you probably already have them).

Recipe:

- Following the precious advice of a gentle lady met in a Tourist office in Bettyhill, drive slowly down a desolated road of the northern coast of Scotland during a Scottish June.

- Park your car on the side of road and start walking down a muddy path that seems to take nowhere else than to a dramatic cliff;

- During the walk, enjoy the peaceful sound of the nature together with the “splash… splash…splash” of your shoes;

- At the end of the muddy path, suddenly you’ll see them…
