Close encounter with PUFFINS - Scotland
Ingredients:
- A typical June in
Scotland (sunny but maybe rainy, cold but maybe warm and windy but maybe windy!);
- A muddy field on the
desolated northern coast;
- Waterproof shoes
(but if you are in Scotland you probably already have them).
Recipe:
- Following the
precious advice of a gentle lady met in a Tourist office in Bettyhill, drive
slowly down a desolated road of the northern coast of Scotland during a Scottish
June.
- Park your car on the
side of road and start walking down a muddy path that seems to take nowhere
else than to a dramatic cliff;
- During the walk, enjoy
the peaceful sound of the nature together with the “splash… splash…splash” of
your shoes;
- At the end of the
muddy path, suddenly you’ll see them…
Thousands of PUFFINS: tiny little funny
birds with an orange beak.
