Swimming with the turtles - Sri Lanka

Ingredients:
- A lovely beach in Hikkaduwa;
- Many rocks slowly moving in the sea;
- Funny sellers;
- Sea, sand and sun.



Recipe:
- Get off at the train station of Hikkaduwa and after avoiding the offer of hundreds of tuk tuk drivers that for 200 rupies can drive you basically everywhere, look for the sandy beach;
- The first part of the seaside has no sand, due to the big hotels and villas built there, so keep walking and after the boats and the catamarans for snorkelling tours, you'll reach a small beach closed by rocks;
- Look at the sea and you'll notice that something strange is going on... the rocks seem to move slowly in the water;
- Dozen of people selling goods and tours will distract you for a while... here you can buy almost any kind of souvenirs (painted shells, small wodden boats, wicker baskets) and relax drinking coconut water or apparently buying marijuana from an old funny storyteller...
- Back to your "duties", get closer to solve the puzzle of the moving rocks and you'll see funny nice heads coming out from the water...
You'll realize that the rocks are actually big turtles slowly swimming in the clear blue water of the Srilankan Sea.
