Street food in Sri Lanka

Ingredients:
- Quick and easy-to-eat food;
- Tasty and strong flavours;
- Amazing manual dexterity;
- Slow trains or crazy buses or amazing beaches.
Recipe:
- While travelling on a slow but panoramic Srilankan train don't miss the chance of a deliciously tasting experience... just wait for one of the guys walking along the train and shouting something in Srilankan. Have a look at the huge basket he is carrying and you'll notice that it's full of yummy Bonda and Vada.
Try one these balls or the strange "fried doughnut" made with vegetables and spices...their taste will explode in your mouth. They are so addictive and so cheap (10 balls, 100 rupies).
-  A long journey on a crazy Srilankan bus can be exhausting. The best way to recover is to eat a corn on the cob. To get it, just get off when you see that the driver turns off the engine and many passengers slowly stand up. You'll find a small stand with a big black pot full of boiling water. The corn is so sweet and sour... a perfect snack for a bus journey.
- Take a rumbling stomach sunbathing on a sandy and white beach in Sri Lanka and add a food shop/restaurant called "Hotel" at walking distance. Order from the menu a Roti to take away and enjoy the view of a man with an amazing manual dexteritiy preparing a thin, hot, tasty and delicious roti. As it's hard to describe his ability... just watch the video below!
