Ingredients:
For lunch:
- White rice;
- Vegetables: aubergins, green beans, chickpeas...
- Spices;
For dinner:
- Chopped roti;
- Vegetables;
- Egg and/or meat;
- Spices.



Recipe:

- Take a hungry couple and a small restaurant in a village in Sri Lanka;
- Add the willingness to eat something local, spicy and colourful and you'll get an amazing dish... CURRY 
A bowl of white boiled rice combined with few small other tasty dishes: creamy chickpeas; aubergines cooked with many different flavours, spicy green beans... 
- A glass of coconut milk is perfect to refresh the mouth between an taste explosion and the other...

- Take a long day spent sunbathing on a spectular white beach or wandering around ancient temples and tea plantation in Sri Lanka;
- Add a tiny restaurant few meters from the beach, or a small cafè with a lovely patio and you'll get one of the most colourful, tasty, spicy and healthy dish of this island: KOTTU
Made with chopped roti, vegetables and eggs or meat, kottu is a fabulous mix of flavours.
A feast for the eyes... and for the mouth!
