Discover the colours of the water in Slovenia – PART 1

Ingredients:

- A small country with many different landscapes: Slovenia;

- Water in different shapes and colours;

- A Pantone color chart to find out if the color you see exists for real;

Recipe:

- From the lovely Kobarid, take the road that goes north and enjoy the drive and the dramatic landscape around you: high mountains covered with green trees and snow on the top… it is already looking like a fairytale place and it is only the beginning!;

- A few km before Bovec, take an unpaved road on your right and drive till the very end of it. Follow the sound of the water slowly flowing and check out the stunning colour of the Soĉa River: an impressive mixture of Pantone 325HC, Pantone 326C, a pinch of Pantone 283U and 3395CP…

- Keep driving, passing the crowded sky area of Kranjska Gora until you reach Mojstrana. From here, follow the signs that lead you to one of the highest and spectacular waterfall in Slovenia: Peričnik Waterfall;

- The strong pouring of the water and its candid white colour (Pantone 11-0602) contrast with the dark and motionless rocks… Have a walk behind the waterfall; it will be a fresh, wet but funny experience!
